Job Summary:

The Tech&Field (T&F) Program is a training and development program designed to give selected candidates an opportunity to complete assignments in both Field Operations and Research,Engineering, Manufacturing & Sustaining(R&D) within just a few years of joining the Company.Tech&Field engineer candidates must pass the interview for both Field Engineer position and one Schlumberger R&D position(for example: Software Engineer).Tech&Field engineer will be assigned world wide as a Field Engineer for 15-18 months, and then return to R&D center for R&D position.

General Requirements:

- 2012 graduates or recent graduates who meets the requirements for Software Engineer/Commercialization Engineer, listed above;

- Strong desire to attend and succeed the Field Engineer working experience;

Location:15-18 months worldwide assignment as Field Engineer, and then back to Beijing.

The China Manufacturing and Sourcing (CMS) began operations in Aug 2003 as a footprint of Schlumberger in Shanghai China. Today Schlumberger is achieving the mission in Shanghai through two operations: Qingpu Product Center (QPC) and Asia Global Sourcing (AGS).

QPC was founded in August, 2005 and employees more than 400 people. It’s an expanding Engineering and Manufacturing center located in the Export Processing Zone of Qingpu, situated west of Shanghai. Today QPC is running two machining production units over 10,000 square meters, and supplies world-class oilfield equipment and tools to oilfield services worldwide.

Asia Global Sourcing (AGS) functions as a dedicated supply chain office that leads sourcing and procurement initiatives for EMS globally.
