The Application of Task-based Language Teaching to English Reading Teaching in Senior Middle School
Abstract
At the beginning of 1980’s, the term “task” began to be used in applied linguistics, then TBLT method became also popular. Task-based Language Teaching(TBLT)focuses on the concept of learner-centered and learning-centered and attracts the attention of experts and English teachers in China in recent years. This thesis tries to discuss a practical application of TBLT in the Senior English reading teaching in improving students reading ability and reading by themselves. In order to prove that TBLT is more effective than the traditional teaching methods in improving students reading comprehension ability, the author carried out a TBLT reading experiment in senior high school’s two parallel classes. The results of the experiment indicates TBLT can be used in the reading class effectively and students reading level can be improved by designing different and proper tasks.

摘 要
在教学中以注重“以学习者为中心,以学习者的学习为中心”的任务型教学法在中国开始受到专家和老师的关注。从210世纪810年代,任务1词开始被人们在语言学中广泛使用,后来任务型教学法也成了流行的教学方法。本文主要探讨任务型教学法在阅读教学中的应用以提高学生的阅读能力并让学生自主阅读。为了验证任务型语言教学在提高学生阅读能力方面比传统教学更为有效,作者在高中两个平行班进行了实验。实验结果说明任务型语言教学能够有效应用于高中英语阅读教学中,提高学生的阅读水平。
