1. cut class 逃课
　　cut是「剪去」的意思，把一堂课剪掉，其实就是我们常说的「逃课」的意思。ditch / skip English class，或是play hooky from English class，都是「跷英文课」的.意思。如果要「跷班」，最常用的表达方式就是skip work。不过，不管是上班还是上课，都是少跷为妙啦！
　　A: I didn't see you in math class today.
　　我没看到你去上今天的数学课。
　　B: No, man. A bunch of us cut class and went to a cafe.
　　对啊，老兄。我们一大群人逃课，去一家咖啡厅。
　　2. take it out on someone　将某人当成出气筒
　　take it out on someone就是「将怨气发泄在某人身上」，这里的it是指「怨气、愤怒的感觉」。下次如果遇到有人心情不好，把你当成出气筒，你就可以说：Don't take it out on me!「别把我当出气筒！」
　　A:I know you're upset about not getting the promotion, but don't take it out on me.
　　我知道你对没有升职感到很难过，但是别把这件事发泄在我身上。
　　B: You're right. I'm sorry.
　　你说得对。对不起。
