　　小作文即应用文写作，是2005年大纲修订之后出现的新题型，主要考察考生在特定日常情境下英语语言的实际运用能力。与大作文相比，小作文的写作相对比较简单，但是要在十五分钟内完成一篇百词左右的精彩短文，也是需要考生在平日的备考下一番功夫的。

　　恰当地根据给定情境迅速成文、具备一定语言能力。因此在平时的备考中，考生一定要全面了解和掌握各种常见应用文体如私人和公务信函、备忘录、摘要、报告等，信函一般包括投诉信、道歉信、邀请信、感谢信、求职信、推荐信、建议信等，各类文体的写作格式、方法和特点需要分类记忆，尤其是各类问题的常用句型和基本结构一定要烂熟于心。

　　(1)首段开门见山指明所投诉的具体事件。

　　(2)将问题清晰、简洁、公正地描述出来，指出事件带来的诸多不便。

　　(3)感谢对方倾听投诉，同时清楚地表达你所想到的解决方法，期待对方尽早回复和解决问题。

　　2.感谢信

　　所谓感谢信是指因为某事件向收信人表明感激之意，写作要求一般为：

　　(1)首先表明写作意图，开门见山表达谢意。

　　(2)说明因何事向对方表示感谢，注意感情真挚。
