英语小短文在中考中占15分，占分比例较高，如何提高学生英语写作能力，教师的批改起着至关重要的作用，作文的批改和讲评是写作教学的最后一个环节，也是不可或缺的'、极其重要的一个环节。但是，作为教师，教学任务繁重，每个学生每周作文都改的话，耗时长，反馈慢。在学生大量写作并且班级人数很多的情况下，不一定每次每篇作文都要教师批改，但也决不是说根本不需要批改。通过批改，可以发现学生写作中存在的问题，尤其是对普遍性问题要及时采取措施，组织适当练习进行纠正.针对学生写的作文，我会采取以下步骤改： 1 、让学生自己读自己的文章，检查有没有错误并更正。 2 、同学互评，每组中都有一个后进生不会改作文，我让他背书本3a的文章或单词，其他人交换改，优等生改中等生，中等生改后进生，用红笔圈出错误。
