母亲节的到来,对于我们来说:激动人心!礼物免不了,乖巧少不了!
The arrival of mother's day, for us: exciting! Gift is inevitable, clever is indispensable!
母亲节最早起源于古希腊，仪式是由希腊人向希腊众神之母希布莉致敬。之后传到古罗马，活动规模变得更大，庆祝盛况往往持续达三天之久。传到英国时，英国人把封斋期的第四个星期天作为母亲节。最后到美国，美利坚合众国国会于1914年正式命名5月的第二个星期日为母亲节。
Mother's Day originated in ancient Greece. The ceremony was held by Greeks to pay homage to the mother of Greek gods. Later, it spread to ancient Rome, and the scale of the activities became larger. The celebrations often lasted for three days. When it came to England, the British regarded the fourth Sunday of the fast as mother's day. Finally to the United States, the Congress of the United States of America officially named the second Sunday of may as mother's day in 1914.
