　　2. 掌握以下句子结构:The chance is that..., The chances are that...

　　五、教法

　　1. 速读法:根据高中英语教材侧重阅读理解这一特点,让学生快速阅读,以尽快了解文章的大意.

　　2. 问答法:帮助学生理解文章的细节.

　　3. 翻译法:适当地运用翻译可帮助学生理解文章的难点.

　　4. 讨论法:通过Pair work, Group work,让学生都得到一次口语训练的机会.教师应设计一些适当的话题,如:

　　What will you do if you are a smoker?

　　1. 复习(Revision):让学生合上书听一遍录音,然后提问题.

　　Ss: Read the passage carefully again to find out the answers to the detailed questions.

　　T: Play the tape.

　　Ss: Listen and repeat after the tape.

　　4. 语言点(Language study):通过多媒体课件呈现重点词汇、短语及句型,然后完成相关的语法练习.

　　5. 讨论(Discussion):教师给出几个话题进行小组讨论.

　　A: What do you think of smoking?
