Dear teacher and schoolmates,1t’s a great pleasure for me to be today and share my experience of learning English with you.I'm interested in English and hope to be an interpreter in the future.Naturally lt’s very important for me to learn English well .As everybody knows vocabular is an important part of language, just like bricksin a building .I usually memorize twenty new words a day and put them to use whenever possible . After class.I often listen to English programs on TV and on the radio .Besides ,I've learned a lot from the Internet and other sources.
Now.I'd like to make some suggestions on English teaching and learning in our school.Firstly ,we should be given more opportunities to use what we’ve learned ln order to have a better grasp of it.Secondly.I hope our teachers can recommend more interesting books and magazines and give us more free time to read them. Finally，1 suggest we have more Endish activities，such as English contests and festivals.

有一位长者走遍世界各地介绍中国申办奥运会。那段特别艰难的经历已经根植在他的内心。听到中国成功申办第29届奥运会的好消息后，他激动得忍不住流泪，说我从1993年开始就一直在等待那一天，最幸福的事情终于发生在中国。这个人就是何振梁先生，他把他的余生都献给了中国奥运会。正是凭借他的精神、激情、勇气和对中国强烈的爱国主义意识，我们正在向世界迈出下一步。
女士们先生们，现在我有一个问题要问在座的各位。你还记得那个难忘的场景吗？是还是不是？请伸出你的手，让我看看有多少？哇，好多人。难忘的时刻还清晰地萦绕在你的脑海里。
20xx年7月13日晚10点08分，前国际奥委会主席萨马兰奇先生在莫斯科宣布，第29届奥运会的.主办城市将是北京市。与此同时，在中国，激动的情绪通过奥林匹克会议室传入北京、这座城市和整个国家。中国人，无论是在国外还是在国内，都以各种方式庆祝这个成功的伟大时刻，比如互相拥抱，跳跃，叫喊，哭泣，喝酒，唱歌，跳舞，午夜在街上游行。现代中国，一个5000年文明和历史的产物，以她的拼搏精神和毅力，终于和奥运会握手言和，实现了期待已久的梦想。

在一年倒计时的时刻，我们中国人正在为这个大事件做准备。北京奥组委正在履行申办时做出的承诺。在绿色奥运、科技奥运和人文奥运的理念指导下；第29届奥运会将加强交流，增进合作，缩短中国与世界的距离。
我想再次强调一点“国家参与”。和我们一样，作为一个普通公民，我们强烈意识到自己的责任:多植树来覆盖空间，少开车来缓解交通堵塞，充分利用能源来减少污染等等。所有这些行动不仅会改善我们的生活环境，而且会造福我们的下一代。
明年8月8日，北京将见证世界的辉煌。世界上最大的体育赛事，将为世界五分之一的人口带来奥林匹克价值。这将是奥运会历史上最激动人心的项目之一。北京是吸引游客的主要景点，它将伸出双手向世界人民表示热烈的欢迎，所有的客人都会对中国留下深刻的印象。美国最先进的场馆，舒适的城市环境，热情的志愿者和压倒性的公众兴趣。

Ladies and Gentlemen: My topic is Honesty.
As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story.
65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure.
In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error.
Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of my friends: Let’s be honest people of good moral character.
