　　尊敬的裁判，敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学们，早上好!非常高兴能在这与你们分享我的演讲。我今天所要演讲的题目是：绿色的北京，绿色的奥运。

迎奥运英语演讲稿

　　绿色，代表了环境，是地球村的色彩。科技一日千里的今天，人们并公文搜没有忽视对环境的爱护。在地球村的理念中，绿色是永恒的主题。近 20 年来，奥运也顺应时代，强调奥运与环境相结合。因此，北京要办的奥运是绿色的奥运。

　　同样的，绿色，也是春天的颜色，是万物复苏的'颜色。绿色，是洁净，是生命，更是活力。现在， 2006 的春天已经到来， 2008 的北京亦不再遥远。绿色的北京，绿色的奥运，需要你，需要我，需要全北京 1400 万人的共同努力，需要全中国 13 亿人的努力。

　　然而，在我们的生活中，依然有着很多和绿色奥运不协调的地方，比如，那些漫天飞舞的塑料袋，那些彻夜不熄的电灯，那些从没拧紧的水龙头;还有，那些在我们脚下哀鸣的青草，那些在晾衣绳索间挣扎的绿树，那些漂浮着异物的河流……

　　其实，绿色的北京，绿色的奥运，并不需要我们放下手中的工作去全身心的投入。绿色，其实很简单，他只需要，我们在购物的时候，少要一个塑料袋，只需要，我们平时养成随手关灯的习惯，只需要，我们在生活中节约用水 . 绿色，他真的很简单，只需要，我们绕过那细嫩的青草，扶正那弯腰的小树，只需要，我们把爱真正献给哺育我们的河流。正是这些简单的小事，意味着 1400 万个塑料袋， 1400 万度电， 1400 万吨水以及 1400 万倍的绿色。

　　绿色，也是橄榄枝的颜色。绿色的橄榄啊，我们期望着，在 2008 年的北京，那震耳欲聋的，只是万人的喝彩而不再有枪炮的轰鸣;我们期望着，那流淌在脸颊的，只是胜利的泪水而不再含有失去亲人的心痛;我们期望着，在那五环旗下，大家都亲密无间的坐在一起，不会再有那些分裂的噪声。 2782 年前的奥林匹亚，风光秀美， 1900 年的巴黎，依旧浪漫，而在不久的将来，在 2008 的北京，汇集着无数人的期待。让我们一起奉献我们的力量吧，为了那绿色的北京，为了那绿色的奥运。我们期盼着 2008 ，绿色的 2008 ，这绿色，不仅仅代表着一场赛事，这绿色，更是我们中华民族的象征。我深切的期望，我衷心的祝愿，希望我们的祖国，如同这绿色运动一样，茁壮着，成长着，复兴着。

　　Good morning,

　　Honorable judges, dear teachers and close friends. I’ve very glad to stand here to share my speech with you. Today I’m going to talk about: Green Beijing, Green Olympic.

　　Green, stands for the environment, is the color of the earth. With the rapid development of technology, people don’t ignore the protection to the environment. In theory of the Earth Village, green is the theme of eternity. In the past twenty year, the Olympic complied with the times, emphasizing the combination of the Olympic and the environment. Therefore, the Olympic going to be held is the green Olympic.

　　Green is also the color of spring and the color of the universe’s recovery. Green, is cleanness, is the life, is also the vigor. The spring of two thousand and six is coming, so the two thousand and eight’s Beijing is not remote. Green Beijing and green Olympic, need both you and me. It also needs the 14 million Beijing citizens’ mutual efforts and the efforts of the whole China.

　　In our daily life, however, there is still something that doesn’t go with Green Olympic. For instance, the flying plastic bags, the lighted lamps all the night, never closed taps. And those grasses that are whining under our feet and the rivers on which foreign bodies are floating originally.

　　In fact, green Beijing and green Olympic don’t need us to put our work aside a nd to devote all our energies to the job. Green, is very simple. It only needs: ask for less plastic bags when we are shopping; form the habit to open the lights conveniently and conserve water in our life. Green is really simple. It only needs us to get round the tender grass, to straighten the no straight young trees and to devote our love to the rivers that fostered us. And because of the simple cases, it means 14 million plastics bags, 14 million degrees electric, 14 million cubic meters of water and the 14 million times of green.

　　Green is the color of olive branch. We are looking forward to the deafening roar of cheering, the winning sweat and our communing of nature. Two thousand seven hundred and eighty-two years ago, the Olympic scenery is beautiful. The Paris of nineteen hundred is still romantic. While in the near future, the Beijing of two thousand and eight will influx numberless people’s hope. Let us contribute our strength for the Green Beijing and the Green Olympic. We are looking forward to the two thousand and eight, the green two thousand and eight. The green, is not only a match, but also stands for the Chinese Nation. I hope our country will grow and reconstruct with the green movement.
