Library Clerk Resume

The main responsibility of library clerk is to assist patrons by checking in and out a patron's library materials, maintaining various files, and records, registering borrowers, shelving library items and other related duties. This work is related to public and you need good communication skill that you can work well with the public. Library clerk need to work at least 24 hours per week. Some times you need to work at various branches throughout the country. Also you may require working in days, evenings and Saturday on a rotating basis and Sundays if needed.

Library clerk give response to questions and requests for Library materials. They provide support to the department and its functions. They check out, find and process requested materials for students and for others the service desk.
