Court Reporter Resume
A court reporter is also know as stenographer or stenotype reporter is an individual whose job is to transcript recorded or spoken speech into written form using stenomask or stenotype, for generating official transcripts of court depositions, hearings and other official proceedings .
In every meeting spoken words are preserved as a written transcript and the court reporter are responsible for ensuring accurate, complete and secure legal record. With preparing records many court reporters help judges and trial attorneys in searching and organizing information.
Court reporters also work for TV networks or cable stations, sporting events, emergency broadcasts, captioning news and other programming.
