How to Use a Copier

Using a copier is as simple as 1, 2, 3. But some people don't know how to use one. Here's how.

Steps

  1. Make sure the copier is plugged in and is on. If there is a switch then switch it on (if the switch has a line and a circle, the line means on), there should be a power button which should say power, on/off, or a line and most of a circle
  2. Put the paper that you want to copy on the screen on the top, be sure not to touch the screen with your fingers.
  3. Press the copy button and wait for all of the pages are out of the copier.

Tips

  • Always keep extra ink and computer paper near the copier.

Warnings

  • If the copier doesn't belong to you, make sure you get permission to use it before copying.
  • Make sure you have ink and paper in the copier before you copy something. If there is no paper, slide some paper into a little place that is normally right below where copies come out of. If the copier is out of ink, open a little door-like thing near the paper place and put ink cartridges in there.
