How to Write a Formal Email
Writing a "formal" email as a job application is really no
different than writing one you would send in the mail. Clarity,
conciseness and being correct are the keys!
Steps
- Set up the email as a business letter. Begin with the full
name, title, business and email address of the person to whom you
are writing. See example in Tips.
- Next, you will need to write the actual message. Be sure to get
your point across and do not ramble on!
- After you have written your message, double-check it to make
sure that you have contained everything that you need in your
message.
